Little Court, Winchester, Hampshire

3-acre traditional garden. Carpets of lavender crocus planted 50 years ago, many spring bulbs then many perennials, biennels and climbers, hardy geranium collection, fine lawns. Walled kitchen garden, tree house for all ages with wonderful views. Good seating, made from an ancient Thuja tree. A garden of great tranquility.

Abbey Cottage, Itchen Abbas, Hampshire

Crawley Gardens, nr Winchester, Hampshire

Exceptionally pretty village with thatched houses, C14 church and village pond. A different combination of gardens opens each month from April to July providing seasonal interest from gardens with varied character and style; most gardens benefit from fine country views. Enjoy the spring gardens at Paige Cottage and Gable Cottage, and the 3-acre traditional English country garden at Little Court with carpets of spring bulbs. In late spring and summer, other gardens join in, with traditional and contemporary approaches to landscape and planting, from the rill, pleached limes and prairie style borders at Bay Tree House, the colour-themed borders, herb wheel, and productive kitchen garden at Tanglefoot, with its traditional Victorian boundary wall, to the exuberant scramble of clematis, roses, jasmine and bee-loving plants at Barn Cottage. See the waterfalls at Gable Cottage and the grass labyrinth and tree house at Little Court which appeals to all ages!
