Why not call into your local library - there's lots on offer to help you have a really enjoyable and interesting time.
- If you're looking forward to relaxing in the garden with a good book, you can borrow the latest paperback then treat yourself to an ice cream with the money you save.
- Going on holiday? You can borrow a travel guide to your destination, or a map if you're exploring Britain's highways and byways.
- Maybe you're thinking of starting a new hobby or pursuing a new interest - the library has books on everything from boating to barbecues, swimming to scrapbooking.
- Keeping the children busy during holiday breaks can be a challenge - get them involved in the Summer Reading Challenge.
- Don't forget that as well as books, your library has audio books for children and adults which can save your sanity and entertain you on long car journeys.
- Audio books are also a wonderful source of enjoyment for people who struggle to read print. And you can download an audio or ebook from our website: www.hants.gov.uk/libraries
- And if you're unable to get to the library because of disability or caring responsibilities, the library can come to you - through the Home Library Service. Volunteers will select the kind of books you enjoy and bring them to your home every few weeks.
